Water park visitors have two new reasons to make a splash this summer as Waldameer & Water World officially opened its highly anticipated family raft slide complex on Friday.
The expansion introduces two new attractions; Presque Isle Plunge and Big Water Bend which are designed to deliver a shared adventure experience for families and groups. Both slides accommodate up to five riders in a single raft, allowing guests to enjoy the excitement together.
Presque Isle Plunge offers a high-energy ride featuring twisting turns, thrilling drops, and a towering wave wall that creates a near-weightless sensation before sending riders racing toward the finish.
Meanwhile, Big Water Bend takes guests on a winding journey through tunnels, sweeping curves, and unexpected twists, providing a fun-filled experience for riders of all ages.
The new slide complex represents a major addition to Water World’s lineup of attractions and continues Waldameer’s commitment to providing memorable family entertainment.
The new attractions opened to guests beginning June 5, with opening day drawing excitement from visitors eager to be among the first to experience the rides.
