Around 6:22 p.m. a structure fire was reported on 620 East 12th Street in Erie. Reports stated that heavy smoke was showing in the air and that the entire back of the residence was engulfed in flames.
When firefighters arrived on the scene, there were people inside the home on the second floor, but they evacuated or were safely removed by emergency personnel. No one has been injured.
Several engines are responded to the scene.
