In Bethlehem, a festival and watch party is expected to draw thousands of visitors.
SoccerFest at SteelStacks is just days away.
Strap on your cleats, knock on your shin guards and throw on your jersey.
“Soccer is the world sport,” said Chris Branscome, CEO of Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer.
Time to warm up, for your FIFA World Cup favorites to kick it on the big screen in the Lehigh Valley.
“We’ve been playing soccer in this part of Pennsylvania for over 150 years, longer than many of the countries that are actually coming to play in the World Cup,” said Branscome.
Branscome said soccer at this level, is meant to be experienced together.
“Because of all the different countries participating, it really brings communities together,” Branscome said.
SoccerFest will bring fans from around the region together for a month-long celebration.
ArtsQuest Chief Operating Officer Curt Morsel said it’ll be filled with cultural events, youth soccer programs, historic exhibits, community activities and free watch parties.
“Bring your spirit, bring your energy,” said Curt Mosel, ArtsQuest Chief Operating Officer.
And you might just score, the best seat in the house.
“Bring your portable chairs and blankets to sit and gather with your group,” said Mosel.
Get comfortable for the large-scale, live viewing parties showing all FIFA World Cup matches, from the PNC Plaza to the Levitt Pavilion and everywhere in between.
“We are planning for absolute chaos here, and massive crowds,” said Mosel.

“The vibe is just going to be incredible,” said Mosel.
