SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA CO. (WOLF) — Summer fun is back in full swing in Lackawanna County as the Heritage Fair returns to Montage Mountain for four days of food, family fun, live entertainment, and cultural celebrations.

The event highlights the diverse history and traditions that help shape the community while offering rides, waterpark access, local vendors, and interactive exhibits.

One fairgoer said he traveled from out of state just to experience everything the Heritage Fair has to offer.

“I traveled all the way from New York just to come to this fair. I saw it on my Instagram reel, and I was like, I definitely have to do it. So, it’s a water park, and it’s a fair in one for $15. So, I definitely had to come out here. They have food and drinks. They have attractions,” said Elijah Wright.

On the other hand, another fairgoer said she’s made it a yearly tradition to return to the fair with her family.

“We come every year. We’ve been coming for the last five years, six years? It’s pretty fun out here,” said Latisha.

The Lackawanna County Heritage Fair will be open through Sunday at Montage Mountain, closing at 8 p.m.
