Police interrogated a 19-year-old soldier from the Jezreel Valley on suspicion of defacing a pride flag in Bethlehem of Galilee. The suspect confessed to the act. Jezreel Valley Council Head Shlomit Shichur Reichman condemned the act, saying that “the serious incident is not just an attack on flags – it is an attack on the values on which our community is founded: human dignity, tolerance and acceptance of others.”
