Fireworks fans can catch colorful displays around Erie this summer
With major celebrations happening in Erie this summer, including America250PA, the Fourth of July and more, beautiful and colorful fireworks will soon be gracing the skies.
Here is a guide to all of the different places around Erie County where you can catch a fireworks display. If we missed any events that include fireworks, send the full details including location, date and time to Nsorensen@usatodayco.com.
Fireworks at Erie SeaWolves games
The Erie SeaWolves continue their seasonal postgame fireworks. All games start at 6:05 p.m.
This season the postgame fireworks will take place at UPMC Park on the following home game dates:

Lights and Liberty Over Lake Erie
The city of Erie will continue its Fourth of July tradition while celebrating America250 with fireworks over Lake Erie on July 3. The fireworks display will launch from the Bicentennial Tower at Dobbins Landing at 10 p.m.
Fireworks around Erie County
Albion: The Albion Fireworks Festival returns June 27 and 28 at Albion Borough Park. The fireworks display will take place at dusk on June 28.
Corry: Fireworks in Corry will happen at the 2026 Corry Police K9 Concert and Fireworks event at North Hills Golf Course at 1450 N Center St. on June 27. The fireworks will cap off the night following the free Daytona Beach 2000 concert that begins at 5:30 p.m.
Edinboro: The Boro with the Works returns on July 2 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Jeremy D. Brown Human Services Building at 215 Scotland Road in Edinboro. The fireworks display will kick off at the end of the event at 10 p.m.
Harborcreek: Harborcreek Township will have a fireworks display to close out Harbocreek Community Day on July 24 at the Community Park behind the Harborcreek Municipal Building at 5601 Buffalo Road. Fireworks begin at 10 p.m.
Lawrence Park: Lawrence Park Township will be blasting off fireworks on July 4 at 10 p.m. at Iroquois High School at 4301 Main St. Township manager Spencer Caden says the Erie County Gaming Revenue Authority gave the township a $5,000 grant to support the fireworks.
McKean: McKean Township will host McKean Community Day on July 25 at McKean Recreational Park. The night will end with a fireworks display that sets off at approximately 9:45 p.m.
Wesleyville: Borough of Wesleyville will display fireworks at the 12th annual Community Day on June 20 at Wesleyville Memorial Park at 1700 Wesley Avenue. Fireworks kick off at 10 p.m.
Fireworks in Crawford County
Meadville: The 2026 Independence Day in Crawford County will take place on July 4 at the Robertson Athletic Complex at 204 Park Avenue in Meadville. The event includes a fireworks display finale at dusk to commemorate America’s250th anniversary.
Fireworks in Mercer County
Greenville: Attendees can find a fireworks display at the annual Greenville Heritage Day taking place on July 11. The annual fireworks show will close out the celebration at 10 p.m. from the Riverside Park.
Mercer: During the Jefferson Township Fair at 7309 Lamor Road in Mercer, a fireworks display will be held at 10 p.m. on Aug. 1.

250th Independence Day: Erie County is celebrating America250PA with music, fireworks and more
Fireworks in Ashtabula County, Ohio
Ashtabula: In celebration of America250, Ashtabula will host “Red, White and Boom over Lake Erie” from July 2 to July 4. The fireworks will be lit at 10 p.m. on July 4 at Lakeview Park just off of Mill Street.
