Phillip M. Park, of Alburtis, was pronounced dead at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest at 7:58 a.m. on Tuesday, June 2, according to Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio.
An autopsy completed on Wednesday, June 3, determined Park died from complications of blunt force injuries sustained in an e-bike accident. His death was ruled accidental, the coroner’s office said.
Investigators said Park was operating an e-bike when he suffered an unwitnessed fall.
The crash happened in the 600 block of Franklin Street in Alburtis at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Monday, June 1, according to the release.
The Lehigh County Coroner’s Office and the Alburtis Borough Police Department are investigating.
