ELMER SAYS IT LOOKED LIKE STRAIGHT LINE DAMAGE TO HIM BECAUSE ALL OF THE TREES WERE PUSHED IN THE SAME DIRECTION. HE SAYS HE PLANTED THOSE TREES HIMSELF WHEN HE BUILT THEIR HOUSE 20 YEARS AGO. AND A VIEWER SHARED THIS VIDEO OF DAMAGE FROM THE WASHINGTON COUNTY AREA AS WELL. YOU CAN SEE THE DEBRIS AND DOWNED TREES. THIS IS NEAR THE BENTLEYVILLE COAL CENTER DAISY TOWN AREA. National Weather Service teams to survey storm damage in Western Pennsylvania

The National Weather Service will be sending out teams to look at storm damage at three locations in Western Pennsylvania. The surveys follow severe weather that blew through the area over the weekend, knocking out power for tens of thousands of people across multiple counties. In Scottdale, Fayette County, the mayor declared a disaster emergency. The declaration allows her to employ relief services, expediting the process of getting critical assistance with clean-up efforts.”Nothing changes for the residents other than seeing a much quicker response in the clean-up of borough property,” House said in the post. “This is simply a way for the council to legally convene so they can all have the same clear understanding of what is occurring in the borough and where the needs are currently.”
