Erie Insurance has earned a higher spot on the 2026 Fortune 500 list, climbing 15 positions to rank No. 308 among America’s largest corporations.
The ranking is based on the company’s total revenue for the 2025 fiscal year. Erie Insurance was ranked No. 323 on last year’s list.

The annual Fortune 500 ranks U.S. companies based on total revenues for their respective fiscal years. To qualify, companies must be incorporated in the United States, operate domestically, and file financial statements with a government agency.
According to Fortune, the 2026 list marks the 72nd year of the ranking. The revenue threshold required to make this year’s Fortune 500 was $7.5 billion, a 5% increase from the previous year. Collectively, companies on the list account for approximately two-thirds of the nation’s gross domestic product.
The 2026 ranking also marks a significant milestone for Erie Insurance, representing the company’s 23rd consecutive year on the Fortune 500. Erie Insurance first appeared on the list in 2003, debuting at No. 454.
The latest ranking highlights the company’s continued growth and long-standing presence among the nation’s largest and most successful corporations.
