YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)– The coroner’s office was called Monday to a Midstate state park where search crews have been looking for a missing paddleboarder, according to officials.
A dive team has also been called to Codorus State Park, along with the York County Coroner’s Office, York County Office of Emergency Management spokesperson Ted Czech said, but he could not confirm whether or not a body has been found.
The park announced on social media that Lake Marburg will be closed on June 8 as crews continue searching for a boater who was last seen at 7 p.m. on Saturday.

The state park said that the incident involves a boater on an unpowered watercraft who is believed to have entered the lake during a period of inclement weather.
Czech said that a number of water rescues occurred at the lake during Saturday’s storm. A man called and reported at 5:56 p.m. that he was stuck on an island on the lake due to his kayaking during the storm.
Another report came in later that night from people with “boards” needing to be rescued, according to Czech. A helicopter conducted a flyover for the last remaining person believed to be in the water.
The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission are investigating the incident.
