Bensalem police say driver fled domestic situation before deadly crash

A vehicle’s camera captured a crash in a Pennsylvania community that killed one person and left others with serious injuries. Investigators in Bensalem Township in Bucks County believe the driver of the car that flew between two other cars was involved in a domestic situation nearby and fled the area, speeding the whole way. At some point, the driver crossed into oncoming traffic while trying to pass another vehicle. The driver of the car was thrown from the vehicle and killed. Dash camera footage from a passing car captured the moment the crash happened. A light-colored SUV is seen crossing over the yellow line before tumbling onto its driver’s side tires and then flipping into the air. “It was surreal. It was honestly surreal. I feel very bad for the young driver that allegedly died. There’s been a lot of accidents around here and I would caution drivers just to urge care when driving anywhere, especially in this area,” said one neighbor. The identity of the victim of the crash has not yet been released.
