UPPER DARBY, PA – St. Demetrios Greek School in Upper Darby, PA, held its Graduation Ceremony with great joy, emotion, and pride on June 7.
The students presented beautiful summer songs and poems, filling the room with smiles, enthusiasm and optimism for the start of summer.
The first-ever Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony in the history of the school, a special and important milestone for the community’s youngest children and their families, was particularly moving. The kindergarteners truly stole the show with their innocence, spontaneity, and smiles, earning the warm applause of all those present. The moment of their graduation filled all those present with hope and optimism for the future.

“Warm congratulations to all our students, teachers, parents and everyone who contributed to the success of this school year,” Fr. Alexandros Kaitidis said. “We wish everyone a blessed, happy and restful summer. With God’s help, we renew our appointment in September for a new creative year full of learning, progress and beautiful moments. Happy summer to everyone!”
