Lake Erie was named number one Best Lake in America taking its title back from its recent bump down to number six last year. Lake Erie was also ranked number two for Best Lake for Water Sports this year.
Lake Erie has won an award for best lake four years in a row now with two of those rankings in the number one position. While water sports may not be as celebrated, the lake has won an award for it each year since 2024.
For those who haven’t experienced Pennsylvania’s number one lake yet now’s the perfect opportunity. With Presque Isle’s seven miles of sandy beaches, boating, swimming fishing, and more there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
