A Scranton man is accused of pointing a handgun at the head of another man on Saturday morning.
About 5 a.m., city officers were called to 1549 Van Storch Ave., for a man who had broken into a residence with a firearm, according to police.
Once there, they spoke with Keith Rose, who told them he had been getting ready for work when Andre Ransome broke into the residence, pointed a pistol at his head and ordered him to leave.
Rose told officers Amber Zvolensky had been at the residence with him and was still in the house with Ransome.
Rose provided officers with Zvolensky’s phone number and they called her several times until she answered.
Police asked her to come to the front door and when she did Ransome, 37, also came outside to the porch and was arrested.
Officers then spoke privately with Zvolensky who said had been in a relationship with Ransome and provided him with a key to her house.
She told officers he had pulled a handgun on her and Rose. She told officers she believed the gun was still inside the residence near an end table.
Officers went inside and found the firearm under a couch cushion near the end table Zvolensky had described.
Police also found drug paraphernalia on Ransome during a search.
A criminal history indicated Ransome was not allowed to possess a firearm because of a previous offense.
He is charged with felony aggravated assault, making terroristic threats, assault, endangering others and possession of paraphernalia.
He remains in Lackawanna County Prison in lieu of $75,000 bail.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled 11 a.m. on June 16 before District Judge Joanne Corbett.
