The South Whitehall Planning Commission canceled its meeting Thursday after all applicants removed their plans from the agenda.
Among the items that were to be discussed was the preliminary plan for the Project Atlas data center proposal at 2493 N. Cedar Crest Blvd., directly across the street from Parkland High School. It is unknown when this plan was requested to be removed from the commission’s agenda.
The Project Atlas data center proposal has drawn concerns from both residents and township experts due to the impacts it would have on students and the surrounding community. Thursday’s meeting was expected to draw a large crowd.
South Whitehall Township Manager Thomas Petrucci said the township is working to find a suitable venue for the number of attendees expected, it will be announced upon the finalization of a rescheduled meeting.
