CLARION COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) — Pennsylvania State Police in Clarion announced they will conduct a sobriety checkpoint somewhere within their patrol area during the month of July as part of an effort to identify and remove impaired drivers from local roadways.
According to a public information release issued Tuesday, the checkpoint will be held within the PSP Clarion coverage area at an undisclosed location in Clarion County.
State police said the operation will focus on detecting impaired drivers and improving roadway safety throughout the region.
Troopers did not release a specific date or location for the checkpoint.
