BRONX, N.Y. – The University of Pennsylvania men’s and women’s cross country teams competed at the 2025 Ivy League Cross Country Championships on Friday at Van Cortlandt Park.
Penn women placed fourth overall with 105 points, while the men’s team finished seventh with 167 points. Princeton took home both the men’s and women’s team titles.
Anna Werich led the way for the Quakers finishing ninth with a 6k time of 21:33.0, earning All-Ivy Second Team honors.
Gabrielle Jones followed closely behind in 13th with a time of 21:47.3, All-Ivy Second Team.
Sarah Fischer crossed the finish line third for the Quakers in 21st at 21:55.9. Courtney Kaiser scored 29th clocking in at 22:07.5. Freshman Izzy Rodriguez rounded out the scoring in 33rd at 22:16.3
The men’s team was paced by Kofi Fordjour scoring 18th with a time of 25:14.9 in the men’s 8k race.
Nick Carpenter followed behind scoring 30th at 25:43.6, and Sahil Dodda scored 36th at 25:50.5.
George Keen and Liam Going completed the scoring lineup, scoring 40th and 43rd, respectively.

The Quakers head to Bethlehem, Pa. on Nov. 14 to compete at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships.
