THEN SATURDAY WE DO BREAK OUT WITH THE SUNSHINE AFTER THE COLD FRONT CLEARS THE AREA THAT WILL LEAVE US WITH A LOWER HUMIDITY LEVELS AND MORE COMFORTABLE CONDITIONS. ON SUNDAY WE’LL HAVE CLOUDS THAT WILL REEMERGE IN THE MORNING, BUT IT SHOULD STAY DRY UP UNTIL ABOUT NOON, AND THEN WE’LL GO LATER IN THE DAY WHEN THE RAIN SHOWERS WILL ARRIVE. AS WE GO TO NEXT WEEK, TEMPERATURES DROP OFF HIGH TEMPERATURE THIS TIME OF YEAR RIGHT AROUND 78 DEGREES WILL BE AT OR BELOW THAT AS WE GO INTO NEXT WEEK, WHICH MIGHT FEEL A LITTLE REFRESHING. BEST CHANCE FOR RAIN NEXT WEEK IS GOING TO BE ON THURSDAY, SO RAIN SHOWERS MOVING OUT OF THE AREA IN THE NEXT HOUR OR SO COULD HAVE A FEW VERY ISOLATED SHOWERS OR THUNDERSTORMS MOVING IN OVERNIGHT. AROUND 3:00 IN THE MORNING IT IS CALM WITH A FEW CLOUDS AROUND AND THEN AS WE GO LATER IN THE DAY, YOU CAN SEE A THUNDERSTORM OR TWO POSSIBLY MOVING THROUGH THE REGION. IT WON’T BE LIKE IT WAS OUT THERE TODAY, BUT STILL, IF YOU GET UNDER ONE OF THESE, HEAVY RAIN AND LIGHTNING WILL BE WITH YOU. YOU CAN SEE BY 5:00 THIS IS MOVING, STARTING TO MOVE OUT OF THE REGION. AND THEN WE SEE THINGS REALLY BEGIN TO CLEAR OUT AS WE HEAD THROUGH THE DAY ON SATURDAY, REALLY OVERNIGHT FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY, ALL DAY SATURDAY WE WILL BE SEEING SUNSHINE. Pittsburgh International Airport’s operations were impacted after a lightning strike knocked out its power.Officials say a lightning strike on Duquesne Light’s power distribution system took out both electrical feeds serving the airport. That means both the microgrid and the main grid were impacted.According to the airport, teams were able to restore power. “Teams are continuing to manage the situation and update passenger in the terminal.
