(WJET/WFXP)– The Erie man charged two years ago with supplying pills that led to a fatal overdose has been found guilty.
The Erie County District Attorney’s Office announced 27-year-old Stewart Correll of Erie was found guilty of drug delivery resulting in death, criminal use of a communication facility, and other charges.

Correll was accused of supplying two M30 pills to 23-year-old Corey Sadzewicz, who was found dead in his Millcreek home on May 19, 2023, with the Erie County Coroner’s Office later determining he died of fentanyl toxicity.
Online court records show Correll’s trial started on June 1, with Correll facing felony drug delivery resulting in death, criminal use of a communication facility and manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to deliver, along with two misdemeanor drug charges.
During the 10-day trial, prosecutors said Correll had texted the victim the evening of the fatal overdose, which they said proved he provided the deadly pills.
His sentencing is tentatively scheduled for August 10 before Judge William Cunningham.
