The following fugitives are wanted by the Berks County Sheriff’s Office:
Matthew Schirmer
• Matthew Schirmer, 40, whose last known address was in the 1200 block of Elm Street, Reading, is wanted on access device fraud and receiving stolen property charges and on a parole warrant.
Muhlenberg Township police said that between March 19 and March 25 he used the victim’s debit card to make $2,000 in purchases. The card was taken from a wallet stolen on March 19.
He is described as 6 feet 2 inches and 250 pounds.
Nathan Behney
• Nathan Behney, 31, whose last known address was in the 500 block of Kutztown Road, Myerstown, is wanted on a charge of fleeting to elude a police officer.
Bethel Township police said an officer attempted to pull Behney over for speeding along Frystown Road. The defendant accelerated and went through several stop signs at a high speed. After a mile, the officer disengaged.
Behney is described as 5 feet 7 inches and 135 pounds.
