A 14-year-old Upper Milford Township girl died Friday from drowning following an incident last weekend at a pool at an Allentown home, according to authorities.
The girl was pronounced dead about 3:30 a.m. at St. Luke’s University Hospital in Fountain Hill, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio said in a news release.
The incident happened about 5:30 p.m. Saturday at a private residential swimming pool. Her cause of death was complications from drowning, with the manner accidental, the coroner said.
The girl’s identity will not be released, Buglio said.
Allentown police are investigating the incident.
