MOOSIC, Pa. – Lehigh Valley won two games against the Scranton/Wilkes Barre RailRiders on Friday, sweeping the doubleheader.
In the first game, which was picked up from the 4th inning after being suspended Thursday.
Felix Reyes put the Pigs up 4-2 on a bases clearing error for the RailRiders. Robert Moore added an RBI in the next inning and Keaton Anthony sealed the game one win with a 2-run home run. Michael Mercado picked up the win for the IronPigs.
The Pigs followed up their make-up game win with another victory over the Riders in the following contest 6-3.
Lehigh Valley fell behind twice but Keaton Anthony hit another home run to put the Pigs in front in the 5th inning. In the 7th, Carter Kieboom went deep for Lehigh Valley on their way to the 6-3 win against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Kirby Snead got the win for Lehigh Valley
