SCOTT TWP., LACKAWANNA CO. (WOLF) — Firefighters from multiple departments responded early Sunday morning to a well-involved house fire in Scott Township.
Emergency crews were dispatched just after 3 a.m. for a reported structure fire with flames visible in the area of the 800 block of Justus Boulevard.

According to dispatch reports, the location was quickly updated to an unoccupied home on Sylvan Acres Lane in the Justus section of Scott Township.
Firefighters arrived to find the structure heavily involved in fire and worked for several hours to bring the blaze under control.
Crews remained on scene until approximately 6 a.m.
The cause of the fire has not been released.
Departments responding to the incident included Justus Volunteer Fire Company, Scott Township Hose Company, Chinchilla Hose Company, Dickson City Fire Department, Eynon/Sturges Hose Company No. 3, Blakely Hose Company No. 2, Fleetville Volunteer Fire Company, Greenfield Township Volunteer Fire Company, and William Walker Hose Company.
