EASTON, Pa. – Search and rescue crews were in the Delaware River for hours on Sunday looking for a lost person.
Calls came in around 2:10 p.m. for a person who went under the water in Easton and hadn’t been seen in about 20 to 30 minutes.
We know at this point they were not wearing a life vest.
Crews searched up and down the river and eventually dive teams and a helicopter were brought in.
It’s unclear if the person has been found or if crews are still searching at this point.
We have calls out to multiple officials and are waiting to hear back from them.
