The Pennsylvania State Police announced Monday that telephone lines at the Meadville Barracks are currently non-operational.
According to a news release issued June 15, the outage is affecting the barracks’ ability to receive calls through its normal phone system.
State police are advising residents that any emergencies requiring assistance from the Meadville Barracks should be reported by calling 911.
For non-emergency matters, callers are being directed to contact the Pennsylvania State Police Erie Barracks at (814) 898-1641 until service is restored.
The Pennsylvania State Police did not provide an estimated timeline for repairs but said updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
