ALLENTOWN, Pa. – An Allentown man accused of homicide in a deadly 2023 stabbing at a local hookah lounge has been found not guilty.
According to the Lehigh County DA’s Office, a jury on Monday acquitted 26‑year‑old Isiah Yeager of all homicide charges. His trial began June 8, 2026.
The stabbing happened just before 3 a.m. in June 2023 in the 1500 block of Union Boulevard. Police said 29‑year‑old Kevin Tarafa was stabbed inside Synergy Hookah Lounge after a fight. Officers later found him outside the building, where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities say Yeager was one of four people charged in connection with the incident. The other three — Stefhon Buchanan, 28, of Allentown; Kali Martin, 25, of Whitehall Township; and Jerome Joyner, 40, of Bethlehem — are accused of allegedly helping clean Tarafa’s blood from the lounge floor after he was dragged outside.
The three are each charged with one count of misdemeanor‑2 tampering with evidence and are scheduled for preliminary hearings on August 6.
