SCRANTON, Pa. – The world’s largest steam locomotive is in Scranton ahead of a stop in Berks County.
The Union Pacific’s Big Boy is at the Steamtown National Historic Site until the end of the month.
It’s set to make whistle stops in Muhlenberg Township and Pottstown, Montgomery County on July 2nd.
It’ll be at the Reading and Northern Outer Station from 2:15 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. then the Pottstown Train Station from 4:15 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The tour pays homage to the role railroads played in building America.
