A person was shot Sunday afternoon at a public shooting range in Lehigh County, the DA said.

District Attorney Gavin Holihan told lehighvalleylive.com the accidental shooting was at the Pennsylvania Game Lands on Game Warden Road in Lowhill Township. A person suffered a gunshot wound to the leg from a 9mm firearm, Holihan said.

Holihan said the shooting appeared to result from an accidental discharge. The injury is not life threatening, the DA said.

No charges have been filed, Holihan said.

“No additional information will be released by this office until we learn more information,” he said.

The Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office continues to investigate the incident.
