A 17-year-old was killed after a large crowd of teens getting into fights was reported in Trenton on Halloween night, police said.
The large disturbance was first reported just after 10 p.m. in the area of the first block of East Hanover Street, police said.
Several 911 calls ultimately reported physical altercations among the group, including reports of shootings and stabbings, police said.
Upon arrival, police found one person injured on the street, who has been identified as 17-year-old Gussiah McEachern.
McEachern was later pronounced dead at the hospital, police said.
At the hospital, a 15-year-old was also discovered to have been injured in the incident with non-life threatening stab wounds to his arms and legs, police said.
According to police, they have video footage of the incident and it shows more than 100 on the street, as well as cars, causing gridlock.
No arrests have been announced at this time.
The exact cause of McEarchern’s death will be determined after an autopsy is completed, police said.
