Local leaders, business owners, and residents are being invited to help shape the future of Erie’s waterfront through a new community-driven initiative launched Thursday morning.
Members of the Infinite Erie group announced the start of “One Bayfront,” a collaborative effort aimed at creating a shared vision for future development along Erie’s Bayfront.
The initiative is designed to bring together community stakeholders from across the region to discuss opportunities, priorities, and long-term goals for one of Erie’s most important assets. The process will rely heavily on public input, with leaders emphasizing that community feedback will guide future planning efforts.
As part of the initiative, residents will have the opportunity to share their ideas through an online survey and a series of public engagement meetings. The survey can be found online here.
The first public meeting is scheduled for the afternoon of June 25, at the Intermodal Transportation Center. Organizers encourage community members, business owners, and anyone interested in the future of the Bayfront to participate and help shape the conversation.
