The cub, who is expected to make her debut to the public in the summer, was born on April 5 to mother Scarlett and father Hondo. With the $5 donation, you can submit your name idea here: www.pittsburghzoo.org/dub-the-cub. You can submit multiple names, but each name will cost $5. The names will then be vetted by the zoo’s keeper staff before heading to final selection. The contest will stay open through Friday, July 17. The winning name will be announced on the zoo’s social media pages. Donations will support the Zoo’s ongoing animal care, conservation, and education initiatives.
