EASTON, Pa. – An 8‑year‑old child was struck by a vehicle Tuesday afternoon in Easton.
According to Captain Crisafulli with the Easton Police Department, the crash happened around noon at North Locust and Sassafras streets.

The child suffered what police described as “survivable injuries” and was taken to a local hospital for treatment and observation, according to the captain.
A police reconstruction team was at the scene, but officers have since wrapped up the on-scene investigation.

According to authorities, the driver stayed at the scene and is fully cooperating with police.
The investigation remains ongoing.
