Abundant sunshine, low humidity and temperatures in the low 70s proved to be a great recipe for outdoor pursuits Tuesday. And if the forecast holds, the weekend should be nice too. In between? Well, that’s less certain. The National Weather Service says every day through Friday will have some chance for rain showers, windy conditions and afternoon storms — particularly Thursday. On Wednesday, the NWS is calling for partly sunny skies and a high near 79, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11 a.m. Thursday should be warmer, with a high of 87, and showers and thunderstorms a threat pretty much all day. Juneteenth is expected to be mostly sunny with a high near 80. Saturday and Sunday should both be sunny with highs close to 80.
