Stanley Andre Howe Jr. was getting ready to become a first-time dad this time last year. “He was very excited. I actually dreamed about this baby. I told him that he had a baby coming,” Constance Moyer said. Sadly, Howe didn’t live to see the day his baby was born. Moyer told Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 that her son was shot and killed one day before the birth of his daughter. “He did not get to experience the birth of his first child. He didn’t get to experience anything. No fatherhood. Nothing,” Moyer said. The shooting happened on Wiltsie Street in the Lincoln-Lemington-Belmar neighborhood last August. According to Moyer, her son attended a pool party at a nearby Airbnb before he died. The rest of the night remains a mystery since there have not been any arrests. “I can’t even sleep at night knowing that the killers is out here,” Moyer said. With little to no answers from Pittsburgh Police, Moyer said she has been trying to piece together what happened herself. She said she believes there was more than one killer. “There was so many people out here because the neighbors that live here told me,” Moyer said. Tuesday would have been Howe’s 25th birthday. Moyer was joined by friends and family for a balloon release in his honor. She shared a message to the people who were with him the night he died. “Please speak up. If you know who killed my son, please, I am begging you. Please, please, please,” Moyer begged. “If you don’t do it for me, please just do it for his daughter. My son deserved justice.”Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 reached out to police for updates on the investigation, but we did not hear back.
