The Greeneville City Council has approved the Fiscal Year ‘27 budget on second and final reading.

That was City Council member Matthew Hensley and prior to him Mayor Cal Doty who cast the deciding vote after yes votes by Tim Teague and Tim Ward, and no votes by Hensley and Ginny Kidwell.
Mayor Cal Doty broke the 2-2 tie vote opting in favor of the budget, which will require a four cent property increase in order to balance.
