Part of road to be closed as crews work on water main break in Salisbury Twp. | Allentown Area

SALISBURY TWP., Pa. – Crews will be working on repairing a water main break in Salisbury Township Wednesday, causing a road closure.

The eastbound lane of East Susquehanna Street (heading toward Fountain Hill) will be closed between Fretz Avenue and Center Place beginning around 10 a.m., according to a news release from township police.

Township police said eastbound traffic will be detoured to Lehigh Avenue.

Westbound traffic (heading toward Allentown) will remain open, but drivers should use caution when traveling through the area, according to township police.

Police say to expect delays and allow extra travel time.
