Acrisure Stadium is being transformed into a Monster Jam racetrack, promising thrilling stunts and high-energy racing this weekend. The event will feature 12,000-pound trucks performing intense stunts, standing on two wheels and flying through the air, delivering nonstop excitement that will keep fans cheering all night. Crews have already started preparing for the show, hanging banners and protecting the decking that has been laid out. About 4,000 yards of dirt will be dumped to create the unique track. Neal Kulp, dirt crew construction manager, described the challenges of bringing in the dirt due to Pittsburgh’s traffic. “Pittsburgh’s a pretty wild city. A lot of traffic, a lot of bridges, a lot of one-way roads and stuff. So, to efficiently move dirt, we’re bringing in this evening because traffic times wind down and gives us more time to prep for it,” Kulp said. The fun begins Saturday at Acrisure Stadium.
