A collision involving a semi-truck and a van caused significant delays for motorists traveling on Interstate 90 during Thursday morning’s commute.
Emergency crews were called to the scene around 7:45 a.m. in the westbound lanes of I-90 near mile marker 24.
The incident led to traffic backups for approximately an hour as first responders and cleanup crews worked to clear the roadway and restore normal traffic flow.
Motorists experienced delays throughout the morning while crews remained on scene.
At this time, officials have not released information regarding any injuries resulting from the collision. The extent of damage to the vehicles involved has also not been reported.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
