PALMER TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Palmer Township police arrested a Nazareth man on Friday for allegedly threatening to shoot someone over a monetary dispute.
Stephen Coppo, 37, is facing charges of terroristic threats and harassment.
According to police, officers were dispatched around 10:30 a.m. on June 12 to a home on the 1000 block of South 25th Street following reports of a dispute.
Authorities said Coppo threatened to shoot the victim in the back of the head before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.
Investigators obtained an arrest warrant for Coppo and, with assistance from the Nazareth Police Department, located him at a home in Nazareth. He was taken into custody without incident.
Coppo was arraigned and sent to Northampton County Prison after failing to post $25,000 bail.
