The Trumark Cares Foundation successfully raised more than $12,715 during its annual Pickleball with Purpose fundraiser, recently held at Dill Dinkers in Lansdale.
The event brought together 40 players and local businesses to raise funds that directly support the foundation’s mission of strengthening local communities and helping individuals and families in need, according to a press release.
“At Trumark, we believe in the power of people coming together to make a meaningful difference in the communities we serve,” Kristin Ronca, president of the board of the foundation and senior vice president and director of brand and growth strategy for Trumark, said in a statement. She added that Pickleball with Purpose is an example of that spirit in action.
“Through the generosity of our players, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters, we’re able to invest in programs and initiatives that strengthen our local communities and help meet the needs of those who need it most,” she added.
The funds raised at the pickleball courts during this month’s event will translate directly into community development grants and resources throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania, the company said.
“By partnering with regional organizations, the foundation creates a pathway toward stability for underserved and low-income families,” the release stated.
