There’s a new route for the 2025 Veterans Day parade in downtown Erie.
The annual Veterans Day parade and ceremony, hosted by the Erie County Department of Veterans Affairs, will take place on Nov. 8 at 11 a.m. and will run until 1 p.m.
The parade will begin at 11 a.m. at 10th and State streets and will proceed to march north on State Street over to North Park Row.
In previous years, the parade would step off at Veterans Stadium and head south on State Street before ending at Jefferson Elementary School at 230 E. 38th St.
Where will the Veterans Day Ceremony take place?
The 2025 Veterans Day Ceremony will be held at Jefferson Elementary School directly across the street from the Erie VA Medical Center 135 E. 38th St.

Who can attend the Veterans Day Ceremony?
All veterans, families and members of the Erie community are welcome to attend the Veterans Day Ceremony. Attendees can also attend a Jeep show at the Erie VAMC front parking lot.

Veterans Day candlelight ceremony
If you are unable to make the parade this year, there will be a candlelight ceremony held at the historic Pennsylvania Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 560 E. Third St., on Nov. 8 at 7 p.m.
This ceremony will honor veterans at rest and give thanks to those who worked diligently to support the mission.
There will be a reception immediately following the event at West Third and Ash streets.
