LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Thousands of PECO customers in Lower Merion Township do not have power Friday afternoon after Thursday’s storms.

According to PECO, 7,019 customers in Lower Merion are in the dark as of 2:04 p.m. Friday.

These customers are affected by 79 separate outages.

The 7,019 customers without power represent 29.54 percent of all PECO customers in the township.

Nearby, Narberth has 259 PEC0 customers, which represents 11.34 percent of customers, do not have power.

Lower Merion has the most customers without power in all of Montgomery County.

PECO data shows 38,139 customers in Montgomery County do not have power.

In total, 121,022 PECO customers are powerless Friday afternoon.
