SALISBURY TWP., Pa. – This summer will mark the 20th consecutive year that guitarist Jon Fadem of Hellertown has played at Musikfest.
He was nominated Best Guitarist at the Lehigh Valley Music Awards for six consecutive years and performs often in the Lehigh Valley.
Jon joined 69 News at Sunrise on Music Monday.
He had a great ending to 2025. He signed with a record label and released his first album, “Thankful.”
He said the album is a collection of original instrumental tunes that he wrote. Jon said he played all the instruments except for drums, which were played by John Kimock.
He said his style is a combination of jazz and rock.
The album marked Jon’s transition into solo performance. Jon said he and a Grateful Dead tribute band he plays in, Life After Dead, will perform this Saturday at Musikfest Cafe in Bethlehem at 8 p.m.
