Syracuse, N.Y. —Syracuse football is adding an intriguing offensive line prospect with its latest commitment.
The Orange received a verbal commitment from offensive tackle Ben Sakyiama of Warminster, Pa (Archbishop Wood) on Saturday, he announced on social media.
Sakyiama is listed at six-foot-seven and 345 pounds. He is currently unrated by the 247 Sports composite.
Sakyiama also had offers from Merrimack, New Haven and Sacramento State.
Sakyiama participated in a prospect camp at Syracuse on June 13 and committed during an official visit to Syracuse on Saturday.
The Orange is up to 22 commitments in the Class of 2027, which ranks 35th in the country and ninth in the ACC in 247Sports’ rankings.
20 of SU’s 22 commitments are listed as three-star prospects with two, including Sakyiama, currently unranked.
