The Republican nominee for governor of Pennsylvania is calling for a series of debates.
State Treasurer Stacy Garrity is asking for seven public debates with Governor Josh Shapiro.
Garrity says she’d like to have one debate in each of Pennsylvania’s media markets.
These would be the first gubernatorial debates in Pennsylvania since 2018.
She won the GOP primary last month.
Shapiro is seeking a second term.
