Firefighters and other emergency responders were on the scene Tuesday night after a vehicle crashed into a pole and caught fire in Allegheny County. Allegheny County dispatchers told Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 that officials were on the scene along Churchill Road around 8 p.m. following reports of a crash. Our crews on the scene captured video of officials working to douse flames from inside the vehicle. (See video in the playfinder above) The fire was quickly contained. Neighbors in the area said multiple accidents have occurred in the area, with many saying they have urged officials to add a speed bump along the road. Dispatchers said no injuries were reported.
