A new Chipotle Mexican Grill restaurant will open Thursday at 95 Brooklyn St. in Carbondale, company officials announced.
The restaurant features the brand’s Chipotlane, a drive-thru pickup lane that allows guests to pick up digital orders without leaving their cars.
The store will be open every day from 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m., Chipotle officials said.
The new location will employ about 30 people, and Chipotle is looking to hire a kitchen leader and service leader in Carbondale, according to job postings on the company’s website.
Additionally, Starbucks will establish a new restaurant next to Chipotle in the city, and company officials are targeting a July 24 opening date, Carbondale Mayor Michele Bannon said.
