NEW BETHLEHEM, Pa. (EYT) — The District Court 18-3-04 office in New Bethlehem has reopened at its permanent location following construction to repair damage from broken water lines.
According to a representative from the court, the office at 237 Rear Broad Street officially resumed regular operations on Tuesday morning. The facility had closed unexpectedly after a water line issue forced an emergency relocation.
The court operations moved to the Central Court facility on Amsler Avenue in Shippenville for one week while construction crews completed repairs on the New Bethlehem building.
All daily business and scheduled court hearings for Magisterial District Judge Jeffrey Miller have now returned to the Broad Street office, according to court officials.
