On Monday, the firm announced that it is expanding those capabilities through a newly structured subgroup — the International Business & Trade Group.

This step reflects Barley Snyder’s response to growing client demand and an increasingly complex global marketplace, the company said in a press release, adding that the move aligns the firm’s international practitioners to enhance client service and collaboration.

A subgroup of the Business Practices Group, the International Business & Trade Group draws on the firm’s depth across corporate, immigration, intellectual property, real estate and regulatory practices, to provide coordinated and practical solutions tailored to the complexities of global commerce, the firm said. The group advises clients that range from manufacturers and distributors to logistics providers and professional service firms.

In connection with the newly structured subgroup, Barley Snyder has rebranded its Transportation, Logistics & Trade Industry Group as the Transportation & Logistics Industry Group, to reflect more focused alignment of its industry groups with the firm’s evolving service offerings, according to the release.
