Summer has arrived in the Electric City, and folks have several places to cool off, with pools and splash pads open daily across the area.

SCRANTON, Pa. — Summer has officially begun in the Electric City, and as the temperatures rise, there will be plenty of places to cool down.

Nay Aug Park’s newly renovated pool along Arthur Avenue opens for the season on June 24 and will be open daily from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Novembrino Park’s splash pad in Scranton’s west side is open seven days a week from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Weston Park’s pool along Spring Street in the city’s north end is open seven days a week from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Connell Park Pool along Gibbon Street in the city’s south side is open seven days a week from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Weston Field’s outdoor pool along Providence Road is open seven days a week from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
